Oct 25 - 28, 2021
ISSRE 2021 will continue running the “Journal First Conference Second” track that seeks to include journal papers in the ISSRE 2021 program. Authors are invited to send a proposal to present their work at ISSRE 2021, whose papers had published in any of the following top-tier journals: TSE, TOSEM, TR, IST and JSS. Specifically, the work published or even accepted but not yet published in these journals from January 2020 may be submitted to and presented at ISSRE. Note that the submitted J1C2 paper must report completely new contributions that have not been previously presented at any other conference or workshop, and that do not extend any previous paper. Via this scheme authors have the possibility to present their work to a wider audience in person, discuss, network with peers, and drive renewed interest to their work.
The process is as follows: the authors propose a paper as a full-text manuscript submission to ISSRE; the paper is then lightly reviewed for suitability, scope, technical content and merit by the PC Chairs; finally, the PC Chairs notify the authors about their decision. Acceptance decision might also depend on the number of submissions received. The authors then register and presents the paper during the conference at the time identified in the program.
J1C2 paper submission deadline(Extend): July 19th, June 15th, 2021
J1C2 paper notification : July 30th, 2021
To submit a J1C2 paper, send an e-mail to:
Leonardo Mariani, University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy (leonardo.mariani@unimib.it)
Ting Liu, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China (tingliu@mail.xjtu.edu.cn)
The email must include a short statement summarizing the main contributions of the paper submitted to the J1C2 track and a short statement explaining why the paper is suitable for the ISSRE conference and audience. The paper must be attached to the email message. If the paper is accepted but not yet published, a copy of the acceptance letter must be also attached to the message.
