The 32nd International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (ISSRE 2021) is pleased to announce the 2021 edition of the Best Paper Award (BPA) in recognition of selected papers in Research and Industry Track, in the terms of the selection process below.

Best Paper Award selection process:

Phase 1: At the conclusion of the ISSRE Research/Industry Program Committee (PC) meeting, the PC chairs will select a list of papers to be considered for the BPA.
Phase 2: Then, the ISSRE Steering Committee selects 3 or 4 papers from those selected by PC chairs to be BPA nominees. BPA nominees will be announced publicly before the conference.
Phase 3: In-person voting by ISSRE attendees
- Both online and onsite attendees vote online.
- Each registered person who attends the BPA session (either online or onsite) will have the right to vote.
- The vote will be done by an online secret ballot after the BPA session within one hour.
- Votes will be counted by Steering Committee members who are present at ISSRE and the winner will be announced at the ISSRE onsite Banquet and the beginning of the online program on the same day, i.e., Oct 27, 2021.
- In case of a tie, all BPA nominees receiving the most votes will be BPA winners.
